Aqua Triumphalis is the music for the Royal River: Power, Pageantry and the Thames exhibition at the National Maritime Museum. The exhibit ran from 27 April to 9 September 2012 and coincided with the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant to celebrate 60 years of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign.
Aqua Triumphalis is written for string ensemble, percussion and samples. It was recorded by members of the Philharmonia Orchestra and was mixed using a binaural method which creates a 3-D surround experience.
