As part of the Rhapsody composition project I have written ‘Tecton’ for string quartet and tenor voice. The piece is based on the painting Marcia H. Travels by Frank Bowling and will feature on the audio guide of Chelsea and Westminster hospital. The Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity manage an incredible cultural programme within this NHS hospital including paintings, installations and sculptures as well as live music performances, all in the interest of promoting healing through arts engagement.
