On 11th October 2013 I was lucky enough to be invited to a day of speed mentoring on the London Eye as part of the UN Day of the Girl celebrations. The day was organised in conjunction with WOW, the Women of the World Festival that runs annually at the Southbank Centre. I spent two revolutions on the London Eye advising year 7 girls on how to work towards their chosen careers, which included manga artist, doctor, vet and scientist.
