Tradition-Hybrid-Survival (my concerto for cello and string ensemble exploring notions of Iranian identity through the lens of local, diaspora and outsider groups) premiered at the Albany Theatre, Deptford on 25th June 2019 as part of a concert of works by composition staff at Trinity Laban, curated by myself. It was performed by the Trinity Laban Contemporary Music Group, conducted by Gregory Rose and featuring soloist Thibault Blanchard-Dubois.
